We congratulate Ventyr (Belgian Parkwind, owned by Japanese Jara, and Ingka Group, Ikea’s holding company) with the winning bid in the Sørlige Nordsjø II offshore wind auction. Given the framework conditions, current cost structure, and market conditions, our consortium did not find grounds to place a bid.

The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy initiated a consultation round on the pre-qualification criteria and auction model for Sørlige Nordsjø II with the deadline set for 6 January 2023.
