Together,Mainstream Renewable Power, Statkraft and bp will develop an offshore wind project that supplies Norway with renewable energy, creates new jobs and supports the development of a Norwegian supply chain for offshore wind.

The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy initiated a consultation round on the pre-qualification criteria and auction model for Sørlige Nordsjø II with the deadline set for 6 January 2023.
